Meet Our Founders

William L. Bowersock,
President & CEO
Bill (formerly of Davis and
Mueller, LLC) has broad experience in debt and equity restructures, crisis
management, M&A, pre-Chapter 11 planning, workouts/turnarounds, and project
management. He has worked with executives and owners of both public and private
companies assisting them in formulating and achieving their
strategic objectives. As an accountant, Bill was a managing partner of several accounting firms in Columbus, Ohio. He was also one of the chief
liquidators for Ohio during the 1985 S&L crisis. As an Ohio CPA and Attorney, he is
a licensed attorney and holds a CPA designation. Bill is the proud father of two
children and enjoys being a Little League coach. His hobbies include reading,
golf, King fishing, and martial arts (he holds a black belt degree in Kenpo Karate).
Michael R. Weber, COO, In
House Counsel
Michael has broad experience as
a lawyer, an investment banker, and CEO. He was a private investment banker
for one of the founders that took the first Internet Service and Software
Providers public on the LSE. As a result of working with this friend, he has
been deeply involved on all sides of debt and equity transactions. He continues to serve on the board
of real estate brokerage and leasing company that grew from 20 to over 700
agents. From 2001 to 2005, he was the CEO for a startup consumer oriented
technology company that grew to almost $3 million in sales. He is versed in nearly all operational aspects of a
company's dynamics including sales, marketing, market analysis - domestic and international
distribution, customer service, company-wide QA/QC, manufacturing/assembly,
software and hardware development, patents, equity and debt transactions. In
1989, Michael graduated magna cum laude within the Phi Beta Kappa fraternity with a
BS in Biology and Chemistry from Stetson University, DeLand, Florida. In 1993,
he graduated with a dual JD/MBA degree from the University of Florida. Michael
is the proud father of two girls and enjoys playing piano, windsurfing,
tennis, and jazz.
Richard Ferris, Manager,
Client Relationship Manager
Richard held positions for 12
years at Prudential Bache and Shearson Lehman Brothers as a Registered
Representative and an investment banker; he worked mid-sized companies across
all industries from due diligence to selling the deals. He spent 7 years as a
sales representative for General Electric’s Lamp Division where he handled
accounts for OEMs, industry and electrical contractors. Richard also started and
ran his own design/build firm in Fairfield, CT, constructing custom homes for
clients and speculation homes. He graduated Villanova University with a BS in
Business Administration and completed graduate work at both CW Post and Yale. He
served as a campaign manager for a Pennsylvania House of Representatives
candidate. He is a member of the Illuminating Engineers Society, Direct Mail
Marketing Association, and Direct Marketing Association. As the proud father of
2 boys and 2 girls, he has coached midget football and little league baseball.
Hobbies include cycling, tennis, scuba diving, carpentry, auto mechanics, and
quantum physics.
Curt D. Long, Director, IT & Database Marketing
Curt has over 18 years of experience within government, financial, marketing/travel, international engineering, and printing organisations in project management; code development, systems development, web/software/graphics development, data analysis; and recently, search engine optimization. He has built networks from the ground up enabling him to review clients’ systems, and update them for maximum effect and efficiency. His given titles include a Project Manager, IT Director, WebMaster, Web Application Developer, and Registered Environmental Manger. At Indiana University, he earned a double major in Policy/Administration Management and Environmental Affairs. Curt enjoys photography, anything computer, video/audio production, water skiing, scuba diving, sailing, and learning.
